Machinery Plant Services Ltd. was originally founded in February 1972 as a service company for the Sheet Metal Industry. Over the years the business has grown, moved location and diversified with the core business still rooted in the service & repair of sheet metal working machinery.

In 1984 a change of direction saw the company taking on the agency of the Cybelec CNC/DNC Controls. This has proved to be a very successful partnership, with the fitting of the Cybelec controls to most of the major press brake manufacturers supplying the UK market. In addition to the above MPS Ltd have completed many projects for the ship building industry, these projects have taken engineers to South Korea, China, Germany and the USA. MPS Ltd. has provided the technical expertise and workshop facilities to back up these sales. Our team of highly experienced engineers are based around the country to give fast response times to customer’s breakdowns, whilst our workshop engineers are always on hand for telephone assistance. MPS Ltd. have developed a very good reputation in the field of retro-fitting press brakes & shears with the newer range of Cybelec controls. More recent years have shown their expertise in the field of networking.

The years have seen the addition of several other agencies, Favrin for Folding Machines, Nissin for Tube Benders and Tissot for gauging systems which all serve to complement our core business and have proved very successful.

Our good reputation has meant that our engineers are in demand all over the world working on everything from large capital projects to one-off development machines.

We continue to build and develop our business in the 21st. Century with good quality and customer satisfaction to the fore.
